Job Description

The DCX Client Services - Home Based Accounting Assistant will work as a full-time employee for a growing business based in the United States. You will support the company's financial operations. This position involves various responsibilities, including data entry, daily finance tasks, accounts payable and receivable management, external stakeholder communication, and administrative support. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial information and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the finance team

WHAT YOU WILL DO 
 

Data Entry & Record Management

  • Enter accurate financial information into accounting software.

  • Maintain up-to-date financial records and organize supporting documentation.

Daily Finance Operations

  • Assist with daily accounting functions, including general ledger entries, expense tracking, and budget monitoring.

  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all daily financial activities are recorded.

Accounts Payable (A/P)

  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.

  • Prepare weekly check runs aligned with cash flow.

  • Vouch vendor invoices daily.

  • Send weekly vendor and AMEX remittance emails.

  • Review vendor statements monthly.

Accounts Receivable (A/R)

  • Post invoices upon order completion and ensure timely collections.

  • Perform daily A/R support tasks (Help with Sandy’s AR).

  • Issue past-due notices and statements.

  • Submit invoices in customer portals daily.

  • Charge credit cards daily and prepare a daily credit card report in Excel

Management Reporting

  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.

  • Support in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.

External Stakeholder Communication

  • Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and customers to resolve billing, payment, and reconciliation issues.

Administrative Support

  • Provide general administrative assistance to the finance team.

  • Perform other related duties as needed to support financial operations.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, financial management, or a related field  

  • Experience: 1-3 years of General Accounting experience or equivalent.

  • Language Proficiency: Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills.  

  • Working schedule: Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours. 

  • Technical Skills:

    • Knowledgeable using accounting software and tools, such as QuickBooks, SAP, or other relevant software.

    • Proficiency in most Microsoft Office Applications, databases, and accounting software

    • Strong working knowledge of Excel, pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.

    • In-depth understanding of accounts payable principles, accounting standards, and account reconciliation.

    • Previous working experience as an offshore staff is highly advantageous.   

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Salary Range: PHP 40,000 – 43,000

  • Industry: Promotional

  • Job Type: Full-time

  • Work Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (USA)

  • Workdays: Monday through Friday (USA)
