DescriptionAs a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be part of an inclusive and international team of around 10 professionals located across Spain, Nepal, and the United States. You’ll play a key role in supporting cloud-based applications, enabling development workflows, and maintaining robust infrastructure.
Your daily work will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, managing permissions, participating in sprint planning, and setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. You’ll work primarily with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda) and Kubernetes (EKS), and use tools like bitbucket, Bamboo, Octopus Deploy, and Jenkins to support automation and deployment processes.
This hybrid role is based in Málaga, offering flexibility and a balanced 35-hour workweek.

Responsibilities- Provide operational support for cloud-based applications and development teams.
- Manage and troubleshoot AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, and Lambda.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using bitbucket, Bamboo, Octopus Deploy, and Jenkins.
- Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters, specifically EKS.
- Manage user and system permissions with a focus on security and accessibility.
- Participate in sprint planning and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve infrastructure-related issues.
- Document processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
QualificationsRequired:
- Approximately 4 years of hands-on experience with AWS, especially EC2, S3, and Lambda.
- Solid experience with Kubernetes, particularly EKS.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools: bitbucket, Bamboo, Octopus Deploy, Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.
- Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup (2 days/week in Málaga office).
Preferred:
- Career progression from System Administration roles.
- Experience working in multicultural and distributed teams.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint planning.
