🚀 We're Hiring: Controller – Accounting & Financial Operations

We're on the lookout for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Controller to oversee the accounting and financial operations of our client’s growing business. This role is ideal for someone who is not only hands-on with accounting systems but also strategic—streamlining processes, ensuring compliance, and delivering insights that drive smarter decisions.

📌 Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting (journal entries, reconciliations, monthly/quarterly/annual close)

• Design and maintain a complete and scalable chart of accounts

• Oversee general ledger, inventory, AR/AP, payroll, and tax compliance

• Monitor inventory transactions, perform variance analysis, and ensure accurate COGS valuation

• Prepare audit-ready financial statements and support audit activities

• Design and enforce internal controls (inventory, purchasing, financial reporting)

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff

• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve reporting and financial workflows

• Build and audit reports using Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas)

• Leverage remote access tools (e.g., RDP) for team support and efficiency

✅ Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of accounting experience

• Minimum 3 years in a Controller or Accounting Manager role

• 2+ years of experience working with U.S.-based clients

• Experience or familiarity with NewBOS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred)

• Strong understanding of:

  • Financial statements

  • Inventory reconciliation, variance analysis, and cost accounting

  • Month-end/year-end close processes and audit preparation

• 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel, including:

  • PivotTables

  • VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP

  • IF statements

• 2+ years of experience working with ERP or accounting software

🕘 Work hours: 10 PM - 7 AM Philippine Time
