Description:
As a CI/CD DevOps Engineer, you will own the build/release pipeline operation of our production, staging and development systems. You will own and develop our CI/CD tooling and infrastructure, including high-compliance services on AWS, and help us roll out new services AWS. You will also lead the way in building tooling and automation to close the feedback gaps in the CI/CD pipeline, develop new integrations with third-party services and monitor the health of our build/deploy infrastructure. You will be instrumental in creating a comfortable development environment for a growing team of software engineers and our SDET team. You will have great autonomy in technology and implementation options as a valued member of one of our agile development teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and maintain existing pipeline configurations.
- Integrate various development tools with custom APIs as needed.
- Implement the following SDLC processes into the CI/CD pipelines assuring release readiness:
- Code builds
- Code review
- Static code analysis
- Automated testing
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps/SRE/Build-Release role.
- Strong knowledge of Continuous Integration principles and tools, preferably with Jenkins in a containerized environment
- Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and ECS
- Experience with source control systems such as Git.
- Working knowledge of a scripting language (Python, JavaScript, Groovy) to develop integrations
Nice to Haves:
- Good working experience in log management, monitoring and security vulnerabilities (New Relic, Sumologic, Tenable)
- Comfort working in high-security / high-compliance environments, such as finance or healthcare
- Experience with Agile development in Kanban/Scrum using Jira or similar tools
- Experience with Shell Scripting (bash, Python)
- Experience with Deployment Architectures (Terraform, Ansible, Vault, Consul)
