Icertis’ contract-intelligence platform depends on fast iteration and working software—not slideware. We’re looking for a high-performing engineer who architects through code: you’ll prototype, harden, and ship AI features that redefine how the world understands contracts.
ResponsibilitiesBuild (80 % coding): Design, code, test, and optimize GenAI services, POCs, and demos—then turn them into production features.
Own the AI stack: From prompt engineering and fine-tuning LLMs to scalable microservices and data pipelines.
Shape technical direction: Evaluate new models, tools, and patterns; prove their value with working code before we commit.
Collaborate & mentor: Pair with product managers on requirements, guide engineers in best practices, and review code for quality and performance.
Ship continuously: Automate tests, CI/CD, and monitoring so your ideas reach customers quickly and reliably.
Qualifications- 7+ years writing software in production environments, ideally startup-speed or SaaS.
- 4+ years professional Python (bonus: C#, ASP.NET, SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Hands-on GenAI/LLM work (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.) plus classical ML/NLP fundamentals.
- Cloud fluency in Azure, AWS, or GCP; you know how to design for scale, resilience, and cost.
- Proven record converting scrappy POCs into shipped, revenue-impacting features.
- Strong communication: you can explain a complex model to execs and write clean docs for engineers.
- BS in Computer Science or related field (MS/PhD welcome).
- Self-starter mindset: you drive projects with minimal oversight and thrive in fast, matrixed teams.
- Occasional domestic travel for onsite design sprints or customer sessions.
Salary range and description
Min $200,000 - Max $300,000 USD per year
We are considering Engineers at various levels based on experience, thus the broad base salary range. Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
In addition to the base salary, an annual bonus target and an equity component is included in the compensation package.
