Remote — Based in Canada
Cloud contact center engineer role with a focus on Amazon Connect and AWS infrastructure. This intermediate-level, 6-month contract offers 100% remote work and the opportunity to drive agile service delivery. Key technologies include Amazon Connect, Python, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudWatch, and Splunk.

Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain Amazon Connect environments and integrated AWS services.
• Configure and optimize Splunk for centralized log management and analysis.
• Set up and maintain CloudWatch monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters for containerized workloads.
• Enforce cloud security and governance standards to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate in agile sprint teams to rapidly deliver operational enhancements.
• Independently learn and integrate best practices for cloud operations.
What you will need to succeed:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, preferably with AWS.
• Strong knowledge of Amazon Connect and its integration with AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes cluster management and containerization.
• In-depth experience with Splunk for log management and analysis.
• Expertise in configuring CloudWatch monitoring and alerting systems.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools including Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Ansible).
