Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements, ensuring they comply with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure accuracy.
- Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure timely filing in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and applicable laws.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management for strategic planning.
- Support the finance team in various projects and ad-hoc reporting needs.
Requirements - Bachelorβs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred, but not required).
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
