Accountant Fixed Assets Lease Inventory
Franciscan AllianceThe Accountant Fixed Asset Lease Inventory is responsible for tracking existing fixed assets, recording new assets and sales/disposals, monitoring inventory transactions, accounting for lease arrangements, and developing reports related to leases, fixed assets, and inventory accounting, in accordance with GAAP within a strong internal controls framework. This role will assist with the preparation of financial statements, necessary disclosure and reconcile leases, fixed assets, and inventory transactions. The Accountant Fixed Asset Lease Inventory, also, keeps up-to-date with accounting policies and procedures within the healthcare industry, and strives to ensure implemented processes represent accounting best practices.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Provide fixed assets information for accounting and financial management reports, including internal and external monthly/quarterly financial statements, revenue projections, and annual budgets.
Monitor leases, fixed assets, and inventory transactions.
Maintain depreciation, ledgers and reconciliation.
Prepare and process accruals, depreciation, and amortization of entries associated with leases, facilities, and agreements.
Process additions, deletions, retirements, sales, disposals, valuation activities of fixed assets.
Process capital appropriation requests.
Maintain compliance within assigned areas; ensure existing processes comply with leasing regulations and GAAP.
Participate in year-end close and prepares financial statements.
Analyze and investigate variances within inventories, as well as consignment items.
Participate in annual budget process with other Finance teams, to analyze spending & special projects by departments.
Assist with optimizing accounting procedures and special projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree Accounting or related - Required
3 years Accounting - Preferred
1 year Healthcare - Preferred
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Preferred
